UnionTies Terms of Use

UnionTies is a community app open to everyone. By using it, you agree to these terms and to our community rules. Union members who connect a local also agree to the rules of that union or local.
Your account
Keep your login secure and do not impersonate anyone. Respect the privacy of others — do not share their personal information, private messages, or screenshots of them outside the app without consent.
Member conduct
Use UnionTies for lawful union, work, marketplace, housing, social, and organizing activity. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, post illegal content, upload malicious files, or misuse another member's personal information.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
UnionTies has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. This includes hate speech, harassment, threats, violence, sexual content involving minors, and any content that exploits or endangers others. Members who post objectionable content or abuse other members will have content removed and may be suspended or permanently removed from UnionTies. Every post, comment, message, and profile can be reported or blocked directly in the app, and reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
Minimum age
You must be at least 13 years old to create a UnionTies account, and at least 18 years old to activate dating features. By using UnionTies you represent that you meet these age requirements.
Verification and moderation
Access to some features may require union or local verification. Admins may review evidence, remove content, restrict accounts, resolve reports, and maintain audit logs to protect members and the app.
Marketplace, jobs, and housing
Marketplace listings, job posts, housing posts, offers, and reviews are member tools for trusted discovery. UnionTies is not a broker, employer, landlord, payment processor, or guarantor. Members are responsible for confirming details before acting.
No emergency service
UnionTies is not an emergency reporting service. For emergencies, safety incidents requiring immediate response, or urgent medical or legal issues, contact the appropriate emergency services, steward, local, employer safety channel, or legal advisor directly.
